The urban lifestyle of fast pace, together with poor diet, lack of exercise and rest, is a recipe for disaster. These are diseases that women over 35 years of age need care. Fibroids A growing number of women today face the problem of fibroids. That affect women over 35 years, fibroids are the most common noncancerous tumors in the reproductive system of women. They are essentially benign, but could be dangerous if unheeded. However, early diagnosis followed by treatment can reduce the potential for additional risk. Some symptoms of women with fibroids may have no symptoms at all, while others may experience: Increased menstrual bleeding, irregular vaginal bleeding. Bleeding with blood clots. Pressure on the bladder causing more frequent urination. Abdominal pain and discomfort. Infertility. An ultrasound test treatment to be carried out to determine the growth of fibroids. Surgical procedures include: removal of fibroids that are causing symptoms. Hysterectomy: is the complete removal of uterus.This can be done laparoscopically, making several small incisions in the abdomen. Menstrual Disorders Menstrual disorders may enhance women after crossing the age of 35 due to hormonal changes, dietary intake of emergency contraceptive pills, stress, thyroid, pregnancy or abortion. Symptoms painful cramps during menstruation. Excessive bleeding. Period of irregularity. Little bleeding. Postmenopausal bleeding may be a sign of cancer. CANCER Cervical cancer is the most common cancer affecting women. India has the largest number of women suffering from this disease, in which the surface cells of the cervix grow uncontrollably, leading to cancer. The human papillomavirus (HPV), which is the main cause of cervical cancer, is transmitted during unprotected sex. Treatment An important advance has been the HPV vaccine. It is usually after age 12. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women and affects approximately one million women worldwide. Being a genetic disease, the possibility of getting cancer are greater if a family history of breast cancer. The risk factor is higher among women having their first child after age 35 years and these women have a greater risk than women without children. Symptoms of a breast lump or irregularity in the breast tissue. Breast cancer is now commonly diagnosed by breast cancer in women who have no symptoms. Hormone Therapy Treatment. Chemotherapy. A trial of hormone therapy or sonography can help rule out cancer. DIABETES Diabetes among women has been increasing. The chances of getting type 2 diabetes increases after age 45. It may be due to genetic reasons or problems related to lifestyle. Asia and specifically India has the largest population of diabetic patients. A sedentary lifestyle, obesity, poor diet, lack of exercise and a family history of diabetes may increase the risk of diabetes. Symptoms Typical symptoms of diabetes include polyuria or severe voiding. Persistent fatigue. Many of the infections associated with diabetes could be dangerous because they reduce the body's ability to fight off diseases. The oral treatment or insulin test exercise: Regular exercise, in whatever form, can help reduce the risk of developing diabetes. Diet: A nutritious diet can go a long way in controlling levels of blood sugar and prevent complications.
